A 50 KB limit suits small application photos and signatures. Start with a clear, tightly framed image.

The tool measures the encoded file in bytes, using a conservative 1 KB = 1,000 bytes limit. Quality is reduced first; dimensions may shrink if you have not requested exact pixels. The output can be below the target rather than exactly equal to it.

Are my images uploaded?+

Will this meet every upload requirement?+

It can adjust pixels, format and file size. A portal can also check background, face position, document validity, minimum size or require live capture. Read those requirements separately.

Why did the image get smaller in pixels?+

A very small KB limit may need smaller dimensions after quality compression. Enter exact dimensions to keep them fixed; if the size limit is impossible, you will see an error instead of a misleading success.
